"Let's focus on content, making the Web worth-while instead of focusing on geography. The World-Wide part will come only from the Worth-While part. Not vice versa, not in any other way." |

The Worth While Web |

First of all read the insane rave that lead me to get this, IMHO, fab idea.... The Worth While Web, is an idea I got one friday afternoon, while writing some of my usual junk for this site. Basically it's an attempt at putting the fovus on that which really means something. I would like it to be an umbrella for organisations, and people who want to use the web to help other people. To do something worthwhile.
There must be something out there to make people want to fight to learn and to get access. This is what the Worth-While Web is about. A cover for whatever projects I can conceive off, or whatever projects I find out there which inspire me enough to make me write about them.
It may take a while to become something, but in time I hope it will be a useful resource to many people. For now, just to wet your apetite, I will link you on to a true Worth While Web site, the folks at Global Development Center, fit the bill to perfection. Also there is still my unfulfilled ideas to something I have chosen to call CultureShock Europe, an unstarted idea, large on cultural diversity, good heart and all thet is required, but low on existance.
