ACL reconstruction...

i'm back!

after spending nigh on, 2 and a half weeks stuck in bed at my parents place, slowly going insane from lack of content, lying in bed reading, watching tv, sleeping reading etc, the only vaguely arousing thing being bi-weekly visits to the hospital for a bout of intense pain, as administered by the physical therapist.....

it's been an up-and-down couple of weeks. intense pain, and the desperation of an empty life replacing the joy of having been through the surgery, and undoubtfully on the way to recovery.

holiday spirit has been non-existant, the only tremor of it, coming from the dull daily x-mas soaps, united in their goal of bringing utter despair to the tv screen before the big day.....

presents are still a figment of my imagination, albeit by monday i should be able to drag my crutch-supported knee as far as the local mall, for an hours of speed-shopping.......

apart from reading a lot of books (listed at the bottom of this page), and watching a few hours of 'quantum quest for perfection' or whatever other ad-shows i could catch, it's been a lousy couple of weeks.....

I finally (today) decided where i'll be working after x-mas, and icon medialab, seems to be my best shot....

apart from that, and my gradually improving tekken 3 (playstation) skills, there is nothing of note.....

boring?!? tell me about it, but i-m figuring that life will slowly start getting a whole new dimension, as my mobility improves day by day, and soon (mañana), i will head out for a x-mas party at my old university, get extremely drunk, and mark the beggining of christmas, as well as hopefully some more interesting things in life....
