John Lennon:

"Life is what happens while you are making other plans"

Don't forget to check out my links....

work in progress

for anyone out there who is actually interested, there are things happening here.

i'm working on scanning in all the slides from my 6 months in south america.
in that quest i am receiving invaluable help from my friend san at the copenhagen post. he's letting me use the office dias-scanner for optimal quality scanning. which reminds me to tell you all what a great job he has done out of making such an excellent english language newspapaper here in copenhagen, denmark.

as you may have heard i just ordered hp's new usb scanner, the 4100, which should be arriving shortly. that should let me get some of the deader pages on this site up to pace.....

i decided to experiment with all lower-case writing, because it's so much easier to do, and in a way capitals are kind of a discriminating grammatical feature, anyway. i mean why can we only capitalize certain words in certain places in a sentence???

i dumped my bookmark (it's quite a heavy download) file from opera onto the web, to supplement the page of my favourite links that already out here.

and i'm going to try to find another quote for everytime i do an update. they maybe more or less known quotes, and they probably all show up in my mail-box or browser, but quotes they are, meaningful they are, so why not share them a little.

i'm fooling around with the idea of maybe spending some time in the weekend to get a site-map together, and maybe even a bare-bones search engine. let me think on that one....

oh, and i must not forget the domain-name. my father bought krag.org, and doesn't have much use for it for now, so it currently forwards to this site. i like it!

of course this site is not the only area of my life with things going on.

the guys at gdc, the global development center, seem to have achieved the impossible and actually managed to get the funding together for their 'wiring guatemala' project, and that may be getting underway soon. it's still number one on my dreamjobs list, and i'm hoping for at least a slight chance to get to do some volunteer work with them.

i'm also hoping to spend a few hours trying to get them some contacts here in denmark which is after all one of the 3 top donating countries. i have no idea of how to go about it, but maybe i'll just grab the phone and see what gives.

then there are the other things, like planning for the future, for a trip to brazil, for a different kind of job, or whatever.

all-in-all i like it here on this planet in this life, even if i don't see anything but a computer screen at the moment. things change, evolve, die out, arise again. such it is with all things, and great ideas, plans and dreams are not excluded.

and as long as i have the liberty to plan, dream, and get ideas. to dwell on them or move on as i see fit, as long as the inspiration doesn't die, what is there to be sorry for.
